Wantage Summer Festival

The hugely popular Wantage Summer Festival is back this year with more fascinating events happening all around the town.

The Vale & Downland Museum are hosting a few events for the festival, all details are below

 

 

 

 

 

Eric Jenkins talk 29 June

After the success of the first Harwell Through the lens talk, professional photographer Eric Jenkins will return to give his talk again in the Museum on Thursday 29th June, doors open a 7 pm for a 7.30 pm start.

Tickets are just £6 each, tickets are not available just yet but if you missed out on seeing this talk the first time round make sure you keep your eye on our website, Facebook page & Twitter to find out when they are on sale.

Wantage & Hardy Final

The Mad Hatters Ceilidh Band will provide an entertaining cocktail of readings & poetry punctuated with music from the tune books of the Hardy family.

Thursday 13th July at 7 pm

Alpine Talk by Mike Hope 21 July

Mike Hope will be giving you An insight into the world of Alpinism & it’s amazing landscapes with this illustrated talk.

Friday 21st July at 7.30 pm

Wantage Summer Festival starts on 17th June & finishes on 23rd July.
