Summer Activities in the Museum

Here are all the details of the activities happening in the Museum this summer

Wednesday 9th August join us for River Dripping in the Letcombe Brook – Guided groups for river dipping will be departing from the Museum at 10.30am & 11.30am, spaces are limited so booking is essential. Drop-in craft activities in the Barn Gallery 10.30am – 12pm. Suggested donation 50p per child.

Wednesday 16th August join us for Them Bones! Take a close up look of our fantastic Mammoth Tooth, and find out how we care for our bonesand fossils in the collections. Free drop-in session, no need to book. 10.30am – 12pm

Monday 21st August join us for Roman Games. Have you ever played a roman board game? Come along and have a go and see if you can win! Free drop-in session no need to book. 10.30am – 12pm

Wednesday 23rd August join us for Felting Workshop with Anne Griffiths. Make your own felted panel under the guidance of textile artist Anne Griffiths. Booking essential as space is limited. £3 per child. 10am – 12pm

Tuesday 29th August join us for Chim Chimeny! Find out about the life of a chimney sweep, join in with crafts and a bit of lighthearted drama. Free session/ No need to book. For best experience please arrive at 10.30am

 

Please note children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
