Murder Mystery & Intrigue! The Friends of the Vale & Downland Museum are hosting an evening of Wine, Cheese, Murder & Mystery. Friday 8th June 7pm. Tickets £10 each and available from the Museum. Please note there will be no tickets on sale on the night so please get your tickets as soon as possible.
Poetry In The Park Join the Trustees of the Millennium Park for a walk around the park with poetry readings along the way. The join them for refreshments in the Museum Cafe. Free admission but £5 charge for refreshments. Sat 21st April. 2.45pm.
Drawing Mania! Now a regular feature at the Museum, All ages welcome. We’ll provide the materials & give free guidance to help you draw something from the Museums collections. First Saturday of the month 10.30am – 11.30am.
Flint Knapping Workshops Join experimental archaeologist James Dilley as he guides you through the process of making flint tools. These two, 2 hour hands on workshops are £15 per person, booking & payment in advance is essential. Sat 28th April 10am & 1pm. Contact the Museum for more information.
Knit Knot & Natter Join the Museums Knit Knot & Natter group every 3rd Friday of the Month in the Museum Cafe at 1.30pm. Bring along your own project or take tuition from one of the members in crafts including knitting, crochet & weaving. Free to attend but please support the Cafe.

Make Lace Mondays Join a small group of Wantage Lace Makers in the Museum Foyer every 2nd Monday of the month at 1.30pm. See how lace is made & even have a go with their guidance. Free admission but donations welcome.
Wantage Country Market Every Friday morning 9.30am – 10.45am the ladies from Wantage WI run their market in the Museum Cafe. They sell homemade cakes, desserts, jams, chutneys and lots more. Free admission.
